Zerona is a non-invasive fat loss laser. The multi-site clinical trial conducted by Erchonia to validate the Zerona process focused on the waist, hips and thighs. The Zerona low-level laser is FDA approved for use on these target areas, plus now arms, chest, knees, ankles and back or bra fat. How Does It Work?

Most fat loss lasers rely on freezing or burning fat cells, causing them to die. However, Zerona uses low-level laser treatment technology that emulsifies, or liquefies, fat. Four separate studies were performed to confirm the efficacy of this technique. These treatments do not harm fat cells like other treatments typically do, which is healthier for your body.

Enlarged subcutaneous fat regions cause problematic sections of body fat, which are created by large fat cells, or adipocytes. Zerona’s laser technology induces these cells to form a transitory pore in their membrane.
